Health Card
You will need two forms of I.D. to obtain a health card which is a requirement to work in the food & beverage industry, so bring your birth certificate, social security card, passport, and/or drivers license. Health cards are issued on all three islands, but the one in St. Thomas is at the Roy Schneider Hospital located on the second floor. The cost is around $45.00. Captain School
Getting your STCW/95 before you move down here will get you working on a boat faster. However, you can get all of your certifications and captains licenses at The Captain School. John Holmberg is the owner and is a world class sailor and instructor.
Jobs to Seek
The best jobs on island are property manager, boat captain, & crew member aboard private yachts. Rent is very cheap or free!

PASSPORT
If you are a U.S. citizen you do not need a Passport to live or vist here. However, if you want to experience all the Virgin Islands has to offer you will need one to access the B.V.I.'s. Trust me you don't want to miss out on these boats trips they will be the highlight of your visit.
Cellphone & Internet Service
Only Sprint & AT&T operate down here. Other services will work, but it will COST YOU! If you require reliable internet service when you move here it would be wise to get an internet card from Sprint. Trust me it is well worth it (340) 776-0770
