ZoZo's is my favorite place to dine if you’re on a first date, or want a romantic dinner. Make your reservations at the bar upstairs for two at 5:30. Prepare yourself for the most amazing views with a sunset I have ever seen. The service and food are top notch, so hold your pinky up when you walk in the door.  

XO Bistro is one of the best kept secrets in Red Hook. It is a very comfortable air conditioned restaurant that you can escape the heat or rain. XO is known for their Home Cooking specials every Tuesday. It is also a favorite cocktail spot for many of the American locals, but this place is too good to keep it a secret any longer. Service and good food are never an issue here, and what makes this place so great. There is a bonus here... let's just say that the owner's have done a very good job of staffing. Molly Malone's is well-known for their prompt service and delicious breakfast at a reasonable price. Good food and service are hard to come by on this island, but Molly's makes it happen daily.  In addition, to their pub fair they also have Irish entertainment that starts at 6p.m.  If its Mexican food that you crave Amigos Dockside Cantina is located right upstairs with one of the best views of American Yacht Harbor and a nice cool breeze.

Fish Tails is located next to the ferry docks located in Redhook. This place is a little hidden, but well worth finding if you’re looking for reasonably priced seafood right on the water that has a nice breeze. Service is a little spotty here depending on who your server is, because their relatively new. They are set up to accommodate large parties which is a plus.
